New tariffs: an additional 100% tariff (so a total import tax of 130%) is scheduled to be added to our import shipments of all kits effective Nov 1. We can not pay this ridiculous increased cost and do not expect our customers to pay the high prices that would result. Hopefully diplomatic meetings before Nov 1 can resolve the situation, but we must delay our pending IXO kits order at least a few weeks to avoid being victimized by this latest trade tantrum. Please also note: 1. we still have many kits in stock at pre-tariff prices. 2. any pre-order deposits we receive are with the assumption of current pricing, i.e. $1190. plus shipping for most IXO kits. 4. Assembly of these IXO kits are primarily by screws. The metal body and chassis are pre-painted, plastic parts are molded in appropriate colors, and they have Pocher-equivalent detail, fit, and finish.
